and American Music Award nominated, multi-platinum selling recording artist, actress and philanthropist, Kelly Price, is said
to be “the only vocalist to emerge in recent years who actually deserves to be compared to Aretha (Amazon).” In
1998, her debut album, “Soul of a Woman,” quickly sold double platinum spawning #1 song “Friend Of Mine.”
The song catapulted the compelling Mr. Biggs series of singles by R. Kelly and Ronald Isley. She went on
to release two more albums, “Mirror, Mirror (2000)” and “Priceless (2003),” which reached platinum
and gold status respectively. Reared in the church, Kelly was compelled to release her debut gospel album “This
Is Who I Am” which debuted as the #1 gospel album in the country in 2006. The album won the coveted Dove Award
for “Urban Album of the Year” and also peaked Top 10 on the R&B charts. As a philanthropist, Kelly has
worked closely with the T.J. Martell Foundation and Denise Rich’s G&P Foundation for Cancer and Research to help
eradicate the disease. She is set to bring authentic R&B back with release her fourth mainstream CD titled “Kelly”
in the Fall of 2010 with award-winning producer, Warryn Campbell’s newly formed label, My
Block. Records. The debut single, “TIRED”, set to be released digitally this
summer, promises to be this years female
