Born in Birmingham, Alabama, Pam Ruff started singing at the age of four. By the time she was seven, she formed a group called “The Heavenly Voices of Faith”. She then learned how to play the piano, the guitar, and the drums. Pam has been a part of various family groups which featured her two younger sisters and other family members.

In 1990, Pam released her very first demo CD under the production of her brother, Keithen Ruff. Her next performances would be in 1991 through 1995, where she began to open for such acts as John P. Kee, Yolanda Adams, Vicki Winans, Luther Barns, and Kirk Franklin.

As her career slowly blossomed, she began to enter various talent shows on cruises lines, winning trophies. She thought that this might be an opportunity to meet different people. In 1992 she performed on a local cable show in Manhattan, N.Y. Pam has also performed on the Discovery Talent Show and in 1987, performed on “The Amateur Night at The Apollo Theatre” in New York.

In 2002, Pam decided to try again with another demo CD. Her goal at that time was to get on the local radio stations. In 2002, she released the CD entitled “The Ruff’s”.  Pam is from a family of many talents. Her brother, Keithen Ruff, is responsible for the production of her new CD called “Open Now” which features the hit song “Just Another Day”. Her goal is to touch hearts, as she reaches as many people with her music that she can.
